Vero Beach is the county seat of Indian River County, spread across the mainland and the barrier island with the Indian River Lagoon in between. It is known for its historic downtown, the shops along Ocean Drive, its beach parks, and Historic Dodgertown, where the Dodgers held spring training for 60 years.
Vero Beach homes face humid summers, strong afternoon storms and hurricane-season wind; the area took a hard hit from Hurricanes Frances and Jeanne in 2004. Houses on the island and along the lagoon also live with salt air, which is hard on metal flashing and fasteners. Tile, shingle, metal and flat roofs are all common, from older homes near downtown to newer ones on the island.
On the lagoon side of the coast, Vero Beach roofs get salt in the air without the full ocean blast, plus long sun and heavy summer rain. Flashing, valleys and roof-to-wall joints are where leaks start here. Hurricane season runs June 1 to November 30.
From Historic Downtown to Miracle Mile area, we roof homes all across Vero Beach, in ZIP codes 32960, 32962 and 32963. Live by Indian River Lagoon, Humiston Park or Riverside Park? That's our patch too.

How fast can you get to Vero Beach for a leak?
Call (772) 314-7244 any hour. Devon answers 24/7 and will tell you honestly when the crew can be there; timing depends on the weather and jobs already booked.
Do I need a permit to re-roof in Vero Beach?
Generally, yes. Florida requires a permit for a re-roof, inspected under the Florida Building Code, issued by your city or by Indian River County outside city limits. Remco handles the permit and inspections.
Does living near the lagoon matter for my Vero Beach roof?
Yes. Salt in the air is hard on metal flashing and fasteners, and wind-driven rain finds any weak seam. We check those details on every repair and re-roof.
